Come join the JLB DE&I Council for our kickoff event for the 2021-2022 league year. We will host a backyard picnic with your favorite fancy picnic finger foods. – Due to the length of the movie we ask that attendees watch the movie or read the book prior to attending – Attendees can expect to take place in a respectful and challenging conversation about racism in America, as it applies to our past, present, and future, and will leave with a greater understanding of how the JLB and its members can promote racial equality and ally behaviors. Please bring your favorite fancy picnic finger food to share. We will split into smaller groups to facilitate our conversation
