A walking tour through downtown Birmingham led by costumed tour guides who will share stories of ten outstanding women from 1900 to the 1970s who made remarkable contributions to Birmingham and beyond. Stories will include contributions within cultural institutions, business, and politics associated with various sites along Maple, Old Woodward, and near Shain Park. The tour will begin and end at the Birmingham Museum and will last ~1.5 hours. Light refreshments will be provided. Parking is available at the Chester St. garage. The price is $20 per person.
